How to Make Your Mom Feel Special on Your Wedding Day

We often say that weddings are all about the bride and the groom, it’s their special day so it should be all about them. While that statement holds some truth, it’s not entirely correct. Weddings, more than anything else, are about sharing our happiness with the people we love, celebrating our joy, future, and an important decision of our life with put the closest people closest. That being said, why not think of ways to include mom in your wedding ceremony? Mothers are Among the Most Important People on Our Wedding Day The person who gives birth to us raises us, teaches us almost all that we know of life, and always has our back, is our mother. So, it’s a given that for us they’re the most important people not just in our life in general but also on our wedding day. We want to thank them, make them feel equally joyous, and ensure that they are aware of the place they hold in your heart and in your life. What better way to do that than to adorn them in the most unique and beautiful attire? Ideas to Make Your Mother Feel Special on Your Wedding Day While there is no doubt that your wedding day is probably one of the most significant moments of your life, what you may not realize is that this day holds a special meaning for your mother too. She was with you from the beginning, through the ups and downs, guided you, nurtured you, and is now finally watching her baby officially leave the nest. It’s a given that you’d want to make every moment count for her too. What can you do to achieve that? Here are some quick tips to give you an idea: 1. Include her in all the prep and prim. Make your mother feel more included and part of your close group by asking her opinion and advice on all the little things. Let her help in picking out your outfit, your hairdo, your jewelry and ask her about the make-up. You’re definitely going to need help in the dressing room, a wedding dress isn’t easy to put on or carry, who better to call than the woman who dressed you when you were a child? 2. Arrange a photoshoot specifically with her. You probably already have professional photographers hired for the ceremony, go out of your way a little, and have a separate photoshoot just with your mother! This will create a unique and memorable bonding moment and you can look back on it and reminisce. 3. Get a gorgeous and elegant mother of the bride dress. The bridal gown has been selected, fitted, and is ready to be worn but what about the bride’s mother? She deserves to look every bit as good as the bride’s mother, others as possible. So, when picking out a dress for yourself, look for something gorgeous and elegant for your mother too. Something that she’d like, feel comfortable in and something that would signify and make apparent her importance to you. 4. Give some gifts. You know your mother best, her likes, dislikes, things she wants and loves, things that would give her true joy. Rack your brain for any ideas on what might she feel most happy about receiving and get her that if possible. Other than this, you could have your mother walk down the aisle with you, have a special little dance with her, or wear something as a tribute to her e.g. some family heirloom or the veil from her wedding dress. With the pandemic severely affecting our lives, many wedding events, unfortunately, have been either postponed or canceled. Therefore, this fall season is already packed with events. Fall is a beautiful season of the year. With its crisp spell, this season offers many inspirational ideas for fall bridesmaid dress colors. You can pretty easily take cues from the woodland settings, golden leaves, and general moody feels of fall in terms of picking a beautiful tone for the dresses of your bridesmaids. Below we shall provide you some pointers that will help all fall brides on picking the right tone for their bridesmaid dresses. There is a brilliance that comes along fall fashion. You can skip those all-white, summertime pastels dresses, or the alike through infusing a bit more hue into the entire look. This fall is all about deep dark greens, burgundy, and classic navy blue tones for those who are seeking a sort of bold vibe. There is nothing more splendid than a richly saturated dress that contrasts elegantly with the warm hues of fallen leaves. Do not hesitate to choose lighter tones. Earthy and neutral tones embody the rustic nature of autumn. You may mix and match them with glitter and sequin accents for adding a charismatic touch. While purple is a playful hue that is subtle enough for being a neutral plus looks nice on everyone. Even a husky mauve and creamy ivory look chic and beautiful, with elegantly contrasting to fall’s vivid colors. This color is a good pick if your autumn wedding is held at a place that lacks colors or decorations; in this way, you’ll make it look more vivid. You can pair these tones with a bouquet of vibrant blooms to make things pop. The flowers that you will select for the bouquets should also be considered. Fall is a beautiful time to include herbs, branches, grasses, and even the seasonal produce in the floral arrangements. These will further pop your wedding vibe. Also, you don’t have to be afraid of the brisk temperature. Covering your girls up in a scarf, shawl, jacket, or pashminas does not diminish their look, instead, these pieces can uniquely accessorize their dresses. 5 Outdoor Fall Wedding Ideas You'll Love

Outdoor weddings aren’t popular only during spring or summer, but they are preferred throughout the year. When you think of an outdoor wedding, images of immaculate sandy beaches or sublime landscapes may often come in your mind. Irrespective of your outdoor wedding location, the outdoors opens up several creative and unique wedding ideas. They not only boost the charm of your wedding party but also bring with them their natural exhilaration that creates colorful memories. When it comes to considering an outdoor fall wedding, the bright season due to its crisp and cool weather, along with tremendous possible wedding ideas, has officially dethroned summers as the well-established wedding season. Read on to find out amazing wedding ideas if you are planning to tie the knot in the magnificent season of fall in an outdoor venue. Why Outdoor Weddings are Popular These Years Planning your big day is truly an exciting time, and since this day brings with it a lot of opportunities for making wonderful memories, everything has to be planned to the smallest of details. Do you know what is naturally at the focus of it all? The venue that you select for your wedding. The look, tone, and feel of your special day are determined by your venue. The popularity of outdoor weddings is escalating these years, particularly an outside fall wedding. Many people prefer outdoor weddings for several reasons, that include: Decorate from scratch: One of the main advantages of choosing an outdoor location for your special day is that it allows you to decorate it as you like. You do not have to plan according to the interior design of a town hall or banquet hall. You can entirely overhaul your wedding location to match your personality. Colors, themes, flowers, lighting, fabrics, or any other decoration: you can decorate as you wish! The natural, beautiful backdrop: When you select an outdoor location like a lake or a vineyard, the natural backdrop is already present for you. Blue skies, lush greenery, a majestic mountain range, the woods, or well-maintained landscapes, the elegance and beauty that nature holds is tough to beat. Unlimited extra space: Another thing that has made outdoor weddings immensely popular is the availability of endless space. It can conveniently accommodate a huge guest list. Undoubtedly, you got to ensure whether your desired location can fit a long guest list or not. If it can adjust, then the open air and freedom of the outdoor venue are ideal for anyone’s special day, particularly when the quarantine will finish as many would prefer outdoor weddings for fresh air and movement freedom. Ease for the photographer & beautiful pictures: As far as photography is concerned, an outdoor wedding offers better lighting, there’s more space, plus there are a plethora of splendid backdrops to pick from, and most of all: there are less diverting visual elements like window reflections, light switches, or exit signs. The natural daylight offers ambient light, which is soft and flattering, especially when the sun starts setting. This aspect adds an extraordinary vibrancy to your wedding pictures. Outdoor Fall Wedding Ideas The year 2020 started with the pandemic outbreak of COVID-19 that has severely affected our daily lives. Many people who were planned to get married during this time had to, unfortunately, shelve it. Consequently, the coming autumn is already booked and full of weddings. In the next five months, the wedding season is about to begin officially. And why shouldn’t you get hitched outdoors? The fall’s predictable weather that calls for tons of pretty outdoor ideas: gorgeous foliage, cozy drinks, and a not much sweaty time for all. Autumn has become the best recipe for an extraordinary seasonal wedding. Ultimately, if you are deciding to host your big day with an October or November date, the following outdoor fall wedding ideas on a budget will help you in making your wedding simply beautiful. 1. Fall Ceremony Welcome: You can lay the tone of your autumn wedding by incorporating a nice looking welcome table. Your guests may grab a tea, hot chocolate, or coffee and blankets that will help them in keeping warm – plus the latter alternates as a comfy wedding favor. Another thing you can do is place a wood ceremony sign that will add a prompt homey feeling to your special day, particularly when it is open seating. 2. Fall Wedding Dresses: You can dress your girl gang in rich jewel tones if you want a modern take on autumn colors. With the cooler weather, you can go for long-sleeved dresses or even try fancy fur coats for yourself. The season offers tremendous options for fall outdoor wedding outfits. You can wear anything you want! Take a look at www.ever-pretty.com for the most beautiful, well-made dresses. You’ll be able to get dresses at affordable prices and shipped worldwide in a few weeks. 3. Create Pleasant Lounge Areas: Guests can get a space to eat and dance, but what about a space where they can relax and simply enjoy each other’s company? A lounge area is a good way of making your guests comfortable. A collection of chairs and sofas, surrounded by pillows, blanket, and rugs, set around a fire pit can keep them warm in an outdoor fall wedding. 4. Pick Budget-friendly Fall Foods: When certain fruits and vegetables are available in a season, they are much cheaper than any other time of the year. You can use this to your advantage for your wedding menu and when decorating with fall wedding ideas. Pumpkin, apples, squash, pears, and cranberries are available during fall. For instance, dried pears can be used as an ornament on your cake and pumpkins for décor. 5. Earlier Sunsets: The early sunset should not damper your outdoor fall wedding. Apart from uplifting the overall vibe, the right kind of lighting can be useful in keeping the wedding going well into the evening. You can use string lighting, lanterns, and candles for lighting the evening in an outdoor setting. If you are planning to celebrate your wedding this fall, you’ve probably chosen your wedding dress already; but what about the dresses for your bridesmaids? If you haven’t chosen them, relax. This article will guide you to choose beautiful, affordable fall bridesmaids dresses. Why You Should Consider Long Bridesmaid Dresses for Fall Wedding 2020 In this section, we’ll devote ourselves to see why you should consider choosing long bridesmaid dresses for your coming fall wedding. One of the main problems when choosing what dress to wears comes with the length as sometimes there are women who prefer a shorter dress. If you are one of them, take a look at this list of reasons why long dresses are preferable for your bridesmaids. Elegance: there’s a true, unavoidable fact about long dresses, and it’s that they are more elegant than short dresses, especially when it comes to choosing the outfit for a formal wedding. If you really want to keep your bridesmaids elegant, go for a long option. They are warmer: if you’re going to celebrate your wedding during fall, you know you may not have warm weather during your special day. For this reason, long dresses are usually more common to wear during fall and winter: they cover your legs enough to avoid feeling cold. Shape-flattering: this is a true fact, long dresses tend to flatter your shape, whatever size or height you are. If your bridesmaids have very different body shapes you can easily make them happy by choosing a long dress rather than a short one. Attention to the dress: short dresses always need to have a stunning pair of shoes matching as they will be the main part of the outfit, which means spending much more money. With floor-length dresses, this is not the case since your feet are covered most of the time and you can easily choose a nice pair of shoes you have at home. Dresses that have darker or cooler shades would complement these colors the most while providing an elegant and stylish feel. This leads to popularity in the trend of burgundy fall wedding dresses that have everyone’s heads turning. But if you do not feel like wearing darker colors that is completely fine too and there are a ton of other options to match just your liking. Just follow these general guidelines when picking a dress. Choose the dress according to the time of the event, if it is a day event go for pastel or light colors like pinks, light blues, or even yellow. You can also wear something slightly patterned. But if it is an evening event choose colors that are a tad bit darker. Evening gowns and dresses that are made of solid-colored material are perfect. Choose materials that give a soft image like chiffon, crepe, velvet, satin, organza, etc. In case the material is thin make sure that it has an underlayer which would provide warmth and make you feel comfortable if the temperature drops, especially in an evening fall event. If you have had to postpone your wedding due to COVID-19, first let us start off by saying how sorry we are. We know how much this day meant to you. We know how intense and emotional the planning process has been. We know how much of a financial toll this is going to take. But most importantly what we want to communicate right now is that it is ok for you to grieve your personal loss. This does not make you selfish or a bad person. Something extraordinary has happened that took something important away from you. It is ok to feel personally victimized by this. So feel what you need to feel. Grieve, be angry, cry. Whatever you are feeling is valid and important and deserves to be acknowledged. In the coming days and weeks we’ll be posting tips for how to logistically manage postponing your wedding but for now we just want to leave it with this. We see you. We hear you. And we feel for you. We are in this together.

Bridal Make Up Tips: The Dos And Don'ts You Should Know

It’s not an easy job deciding on the ideal bridal makeup for your wedding day, unless you just decide to play it safe with a nude-like makeup look, which is not at all bad: nude lips and a subtle eyeliner flick. If, on the contrary, you want to go for a bolder option like smoky eyes and fuchsia lips, you need to be really careful with your choice so as not to spoil your look for the big day. In this article we will give you many bridal beauty tips on everything you need to do to feel stunning during your wedding day and what you shouldn’t do to avoid ruining that very special day. If your wedding is near and you need some beauty tips, go ahead and continue reading this special wedding guide. Dos: Things You Need to Do to Feel Beautiful on Your Wedding Day To start with, let’s take a look at the wedding makeup looks Dos list, where you’ll be able to grab a general idea of what things are important to do during the beauty process while getting ready for your bid day. 1. Choose waterproof makeup: this may seem an obvious thing to say but many of us tend to buy regular makeup as it is easier to take off. Why waterproof? Well, even if you’re not a weeping willow, you may need it. If you are having your bridal makeup done in your wedding day, this is not a problem. However, if you are a total pro and you’re going to do it by yourself and everything you have is regular (not waterproof) makeup, here’s a cheap solution: you can buy a quick-drying coat to make your makeup water proof: you can apply it to your blush, eyeliner, lipstick and shadows. Basically, a miracle. 2. Stick to styles that match and enhance your natural beauty: this rule applies if you want to go for a natural look. Don’t choose colors and styles that don’t fit you. For example, if your eyelids are naturally pink, try to choose a similar color to enhance that beautiful and natural feature of yours. If the tone of your lips is berry-like, a similar lipstick will always emphasize that characteristic. A delicate eyeliner style combined with a neutral, soft lipstick will achieve an excellent natural bridal makeup result. 3. Be careful with dramatic styles! If, on the contrary, you want to choose an intense, dramatic bridal makeup style, make sure it suits your face and your dress. These makeup styles can be a good thing to choose when your dress is simple without many details; however, if you chose a complex dress, try to go simpler on the makeup. A beautiful dramatic makeup could be red lips combined with half-smoky eyes. 4. Remember the under-eye concealer: again, another tip that may seem obvious yet it’s not, especially if you are having your makeup done by yourself. What’s important to consider here is balance: too much will look exaggerated and none of it can show some nasty eye bags or dark circles. For a fresh face, choose the appropriate color according to your skin tone; yes, this means that you shouldn’t go for a lighter tone. When putting it on, don’t apply too much pressure. This bridal makeup tip will help you show a beautiful, fresh face on your big day. 5. Put on blush on your cheek apples: some women do not like wearing blush, so if you’re one of those let me tell you that together with a moisturizer, blush can make your skin look absolutely radiant, glowing and healthy; and believe me, this is the ideal bridal makeup look you want. What’s more, it’s one of the easiest products to apply since you can do it with a stick or a powder brush. 5. Be loyal to your style: last but not least, this tip is the most important one. If you’re not a natural-makeup-user, then choosing a natural, soft makeup will make you feel rather naked. On the contrary, if you always go for natural styles, don’t go and choose something too colorful or dark for your wedding day, you won’t feel comfortable. Don’ts: Keep Them in Mind to Avoid Ruining Your Big Day Now that we’ve gone through some things you should do when choosing your bridal makeup looks, the nasty part comes: a list of things you shouldn’t do during your wedding bridal makeup choice. 1. Don’t choose a lighter or darker foundation: stick to your natural skin color. Choosing a snow-white foundation to make your skin face look lighter or, on the contrary, choosing a darker one to make your face look tanned will only give you a messy appearance. Remember it’s not only your face which plays a part, your neck, bust and arms will also participate and let me tell you you don’t want two different skin colors on your wedding night look as this, apart from sloppy, will give you a rather scary look. 2. Don’t go for full smoky eyes: Although this look may be perfect for night party or just a night out, it may be a bit too much for your wedding day. Silver combined with black shadows are an intense choice, so if you are certain you want to choose this, you may want to try it first together with your dress and hair done. 3. Don’t use a dark liner for your lips: this is one of the most common mistakes women make when lining their lips. A dark liner only gives you a poor, unnatural look and it also ages your mouth, making you look some years older. What should you do instead? Choose a liner that matches your lip color or else stick to the exact color lipstick you’re going to wear. 4. Don’t put on fake, heavy lashes: this rule applies specially for weddings taking place during the day. In general, most fake options tend to hide your natural eyelashes, damage your waterline and hinder its growth. Another negative aspect of them is that they may make you look like you’re in a costume. What do I recommend? Save these falsies for the night only if you feel very insecure about yours. If not, just enhance them with a good mascara and get ready to shine on your big day. All in all, these are some useful bridal tips you can follow when choosing your ideal wedding makeup for your dream night!
