On her second day in Morocco, our Ever-Pretty beauty Larisa visited the Hassan Tower minaret and Mosque which were built under the Berber Almohad dynasty in the 12th century. Larisa chose to wear our floor length peplum burgundy dress because she liked how the architectural silhouette of the dress mirrored the stunning architecture of Morocco. This year, we were lucky to be a part of some amazing events across the country. From WGIRLS, Inc.’s Project G.L.A.M. in New York to the Clippers Foundation’s Prom Dress Giveaway in L.A., we got to be a part of something even bigger than dresses – helping girls in need attend their prom confidently and in style. For so many families, prom can be an intimidatingly expensive event, and many young women aren’t able to attend. We wanted to do something for these girls and help them have an amazing night at prom without worrying about the cost. The team here at Ever-Pretty donated some of our favorite Ever-Pretty styles to these events so that girls who normally couldn’t afford a prom dress could walk out with a head-to-toe outfit – for free! These events provided a fun, comfortable space for hundreds of high school girls to browse racks of prom dresses, look at accessories, and get makeup tips and styling help from on-site experts. The girls tried on outfits, posed for photos, and had an overall great time. “Growing up, I didn’t have much,” said prom dress giveaway recipient Kaylee Howard. “So having this – it’s everything. Even looking in the mirror, I’m like…that’s me! In a dress I never thought would be on me!” None of this would have been possible without our incredible partners: the YWCA, WGIRLS, Inc., Fairy Godmothers, and the Clippers Foundation. Thank you to everyone who made these events so successful and so inspiring. We were so happy to be a part of these special events, and hope that these young women had an unforgettable time at their proms!

Where in the world is Larisa, today? It’s a question that we ask ourselves pretty often as this Ever-Pretty beauty is quite the globetrotter. This time we find Larisa in Rabat, the capital of Morocco. Read on to find out where Larisa stayed, ate, and of course, packed! On her first day in Rabat Larisa wore a formal long white dress. This dress features a delicately embroidered bust with cascading ruffles that decorate the thigh high slit. Its dramatic elegance was a perfect choice for this romantic setting and the white really popped with all the colorful mosaics and earth tone buildings. While in Rabat, Larisa stayed in Riad Souika Hotel which is located in the center of the old town. It is also very close to Rouika Street, where you can see merchants with different kinds of teapots, spices and many other handmade Moroccan goods. Rouika Street is the perfect place to find your perfect summer straw bag or an excellent teapot to drink Moroccan mint tea. And the prices in this street are much lower than in Marrakech. The Dutch tulips are known worldwide and you will experience the excellent views with more than 7 million flower bulbs in Keukenhof which is the most famous and largest flower park in the world. Keukenhof lies in Lisse, between Amsterdam and The Hague which is well accessible by public transport. Seas of flowers are probably most Insta-girls’ dream location – I mean, just look at these photos! DREAM! You will feel like that you are adrift on seas of flowers at this Dutch park. Giethoorn is an idyllic Dutch village, where people love to live with and on the water. Countless thatched farms have been built on small peat islands connected by over 170 wooden bridges. Our Ever-Pretty beauty Larisa was lucky enough to walk through Giethoorn’s canals and bridges almost by herself, without cars on the roads, because it was Kingsday in Holland that day and everyone was visiting larger cities to go to the concerts. Larisa chose a short flowy pink dress, a straw flat boater hat with two soft ribbons and a pair of deep pink sandals which matches the pink dress. Her entire look was designed for this Dutch village and it showed! It seems like the houses here were taken out of a fairy tale and shipshape lawns completed the whole miraculous picture. Time has stopped for a second in this Dutch village and everything moves a little slower. So magical! Giethoorn absolutely has a reputation when it comes to delicious food. There are a variety of wonderful restaurants, many of which are situated at the water’s edge. The most popular one in this Dutch village is De Lindenhof (Beulakerweg 77) with 2 Michelin stars.
