Try Something Different: Our Favorite Blouses
A great blouse is one of the most versatile fashion items you can own. And spring is the perfect time to add fresh new blouses to your wardrobe! The fun prints of spring are a great way to add interest and playfulness to your closet. Let’s check it out!
1. Try A Different Color
White is without a doubt the most popular color of blouses. But it may surprise you to learn that blue is the second most popular. Pastel blues are a great trend for spring, but make it extra special by choosing a blue blouse with special detailing.
Pink is another great blouse choice for spring! This shouldn’t surprise you as we’ve already talked about how pink is trending large this spring! (See previous posts here: pink shoes, pink trench coat). As a layering piece, pink blouses are more special than white and pink always help you to add a sweet vibe whatever you pair with.
Green is another great choice for spring! Green with high saturation is more suitable as a layering piece. On the contrary, green with low saturation is a perfect outerwear especially in spring.
2. Try A Different Cut
Even if you’re sticking with a classic white blouse this spring, try out a different cut to keep the look fresh! Unique details like ruffles, puff sleeves, or cutouts all add interest and keep your look fresh!
3. Try A Different Pattern
Animal prints items have been a street style mainstay for years. I suggest you pair with a simple white skirt or trouser when you wear an animal print blouse to avoid looking too overdressed.
My favorite pattern is geometric prints because it gives a sense of art and doesn’t look overdressed. Geometric print blouses can also be a good layering piece.
