I bought this dress in light blue for my sons wedding. The wedding was formal. The dress fit me perfectly I like that it had 2 layers of fabric, so no worries that it might be see through. The dress wasn't heavy. It flowed nicely without being too much. The color was perfect for and early summer formal wedding. I would post pictures but because of my weight, I don't like to be seen. I will say the dress was prettier on the hanger than it was on me, to no fault of the dress.
