I am 5'3" and weigh about 175. I bought size 12 and it fits perfectly. The lining is a stretchy but not too much. The weight of the dress makes it feel so well made and the sequins cannot be felt. I bought the gold/champagne color. I don't even have to hem it. It's also super modest for those that need that. I cannot say enough good things about this dress and purchase. I usually don't rush to try things on, but when I pulled it from the package I just had to. It was so affordable to.

Wow, wow, wow did I feel like a million bucks when I put this dress on. I'm 5'3, 180 pounds, and have a 36J chest. I typically wear a size L for tops and 12/32 for jeans. I know formal dresses can be a bit tighter, so I went for the size 14 and it fit perfectly.
I initially tried on the Ever Alix Sequin High-Low V-neck dress with floral details. Sadly it wasn't a good look. Thankfully I also bought this dress as a backup. This one looked so much better on me! I'm excited to keep it and wear it to future events.
I have an apple stomach, but this dress skims the body rather than squeezes it, so I know I'll feel comfortable in it even if I have a good night of eating. Under any dress I generally wear light compression shorts--more for modesty than shaping--and I feel those are fine for this. No extra-tight shapewear needed, especially with black which is already a slimming color.
The mermaiding at the bottom is subtle yet stunning. I was afraid at 5'3 that I'd need towering heels or to hem the bottom, but I can get away with a normal, comfortable height.
Because I have a large chest sometimes neck-high tops can make me look matronly. Thankfully, that wasn't he case. I imagine it's how the whole dress comes together. Even better, I won't need to buy a special or new bra at the very expensive bra store that big-busted ladies need to visit.
I only wish they had this dress in more colors. The gold/champagne is also beautiful, but I don't think it was a wedding appropriate color...too close to white. Green, burnt orange, navy, and burgundy, please!

I'm 38/32/40 and I ordered a size 10 after checking the size chart.It fits perfectly!The material has a nice weight to it, and the sequins shine beautifully under the light.The lining is really comfortable, and the fabric has just the right amount of stretch, so it’s easy to move around in. They did a great job with both.
