Dress is nice, fabric is soft, not itchy. Disappointing that after I read reviews and many said to size up 2 sizes as the band under is snug. I did that, bought the dress 2 sizes up according to the measurement charts. Unfortunately the dress fits perfectly now and I want it to fit me 2 sizes down. I am loosing weight and tried to purchase the dress to fit me in a few months from now. It is a lovely dress and I will try to get it altered so it fits with the additional weight loss. I am happy with the length, it is on the ground a bit but I think with a low 1/2 inch heel will be fine. I weigh 168 pounds, I am 5’4 inches tall and I bought a size 12, which is my true size. Hopefully the seamstress can alter it.

I just wanted to provide an honest review for this gown. I went to a gala in New York and needed something beautiful but not extremely expensive so I gave this gown a try. It is GORGEOUS! The fabric is gently elastic, the flow is beautiful, no smell, the cut of the gown hugs in all the right places. The zipper in the back is smooth with no issues zipping up or down. .. no fabric in the way. Gorgeous cut in this gown. This gown you could wear to something like a gala or a wedding, maybe even wedding vow renewals. It is beautiful. If you’re feeling frustrated because you just haven’t found “the one” yet and you’re maybe nervous about purchasing online - do it. You won’t regret it.
